I used to travel alot to Lebanon and lived there for awhile in 2001. Whenever I got into a conversation about life-extension and "immortality" they, people seems to get off on the idea. Under Abu Samra, Lebanon became increasingly "nationalist", not in the expansionistic meaning of the term, by in the sense that they want to become a fully technologically-driven, competitive society. They've done quite well. But needless to say, they got a long way to go. Its quite nice there. You've got the beaches, the tropical forests, the three major races and cultures (Lebanese, Syrian, and Arabic), and nice-looking women. Everything you could want is there. Denver-based band the Fray was formed in 2002 by Isaac Slade (vocals, piano) and Joe King (guitar, vocals) when the two former school friends met up again in a local music store. They soon began regular two-man jam sessions that led to writing songs and devising a style pitched between the arena-friendly style of U2 and the authentic rock of bands like Counting Crows. When you commit yourself to your partner and your relationship, your life changes and as far as social contact goes, that shift is often for the worse. Perhaps being a couple means you've cut yourself off from friends or family. Spending time with your partner seemed so important that everyone else in your life took a back seat. Perhaps having children means that you are housebound and lacking adult contact. You become dependent on your partner for company, conversation and emotional support. And that's dangerous.
Don't feel bad if you have some needs that your partner can't meet. Instead, expand your world. Spread your needs more thinly, taking support and company from a number of people.
